Use the Maps section to display your physical store’s location using the widely used Google Maps and drive footfall to your premises.

Tailor your Maps section to display important information such as opening times and allow customers to follow directions, effortlessly, straight to your door.

Establishing your online storefront alongside your brick-and-mortar outlet solidifies your brand’s credibility.

Adding a Map section

You can add your Collection list section here:

  1. Admin

  2. Online store → Themes → Customise

  3. Sections

  4. Add section:

5. Choose 'Map':

Give the section a title.

Sub Heading

Displays a second header, underneath the main header.

Address and hours

Give the section a longer piece of text below the title.

Map address

This is not displayed to customers, but is where you tell Google Maps exactly where you would like the locator pin to be dropped on the map.

Google Maps API key

You need this for the map to be displayed as it is pulled from Google’s API.

Here is a great Shopify document which helps explain how to do this (this link is also provided in the map section editor):

Shopify Help - Registering a Google Maps API

Wide display

Widens the map to the browser edge. Enable or disable checkbox to change the Section width on screen. This option is enabled by default.

Choose a picture to be shown, as a backup, if for any reason the Map itself cannot be displayed.

Map Style

Set the visual style of the map to match or compliment your storefront.
